For my daughter’s 10th birthday celebration, we opted to go back to Katungkulan Beach Resort (formerly known as Cavite de Boracay) in Ternate, Cavite for another water fun adventure. Unfortunately, it was closed due to week-long training of the marines. Our Plan B was in Ternate Beach Resort, the nearest resort known for its budget rate and accessibility.
I was told by my office mate about Water Camp in Naic, Cavite with Wave Pool and Lazy River Pool. With this, the traditional family swimming getaway strikes again for Pao’s 17th birthday… here in this resort! The summer heat is on! My kids had been longing to swim since the first day of April. My hubby and I decided to go back to Boracay de Cavite now Katungkulan Beach Resort for a beach getaway. And we set it on this holiday.
Patungan Cove is privately owned and we were so lucky that we had the opportunity to soak up the sun in this resort which is less crowd and teeming with tranquility. The cove is located in Sta. Mercedes (Patungan) at the farthest end of Maragondon, Cavite.
Part of our excitement in getting there was setting foot in Kaybiang Tunnel, the new 300-meter tunnel and the so-called Ternate-Nasugbu Road which connects Cavite and Batangas. We stopped beside the highway and had picture taking. Continue reading
