We are a family who loves to venture out on new food dining experience. As of this time, there are ravings about Korean barbeque and for my son’s birthday, Pao invited us to try and savor the goodness of unlimited samgyupsal in Romantic Baboy. And since he is now working, he will pay for the bill. Yehey! This is a no-diet dinner and everyone is expected to give in to this unusual craving.
Once known as a small fishing village, Pattaya is now a sparkling coastal city dotted with wonderful tourist attractions and a myriad of activities to deal with. This is our third day in Thailand and we had great fun to take home another precious memory as we visit another spectacular sight, immerse in the culture of the city, meet new friends and enjoy the sound and smell of this present moment.
Saying good-bye to our loved ones in California and Nevada made me feel sad and emotional. I guess, we all have these emotions for a reason. Our two-week vacation in these two beautiful states went by quickly. Surely, I will gonna miss a lot of things if we get back home. And to cap off our last but memorable night in California where we stayed longer, my brother-in-law Noel, invited us for fresh boiling seafood treat in a Chinese restaurant called Asian n’ Cajun 2 Boiling Seafood Restaurant.
A lovely sunny day and glistening water are what we need after a busy month of filing ITRs (Income Tax Returns). It’s time now to rejuvenate our bodies and freshen up our minds from tons of paper works. We wanted to bask in a beach resort with a swimming pool. To save time from a long trip we chose Laiya Coco Grove Resort in Laiya, Batangas which is three-hour away from Manila. After considering the distance and the expenses, we now set off to Finance’s 2017 summer getaway!
This day marked our 21st wedding anniversary. My hubby surprised me with a water getaway not today but tomorrow since he wanted our kids and my mother to celebrate this special occasion with them. In the meantime, we will be having dinner in Circuit Makati, just the two of us together. We were craving ramen. But to our dismay, there’s no restaurant in this mall that serves our favorite dish. So we opted to eat noodles, and we chose Shi Lin.
Storm signal number 3 prompted us to vacate Potipot Island the other night. We stayed in Harvest Beach Resort and there we spent the windy night peacefully. When morning came, I hailed the curtain and saw the strong buffeting of waves brought by heavy rain and a strong gust of winds.
It’s my birthday today and I was on leave from work. When my hubby arrived from his office and my kids from school, we set off to nearby Shakey’s Pizza branch to avail myself my free birthday gift, a large size Pepperoni thin crust pizza. We will go there to avail the perks of being a SuperCard holder and will dine in as well.
When my hubby’s former office-mates went home from work abroad, he was cordially invited for a dinner at Applebee’s Grill and Bar, or simply Applebee’s at Eastwood, Quezon City. He was fascinated with their best-seller Blackened Ribeye. This is the reason why he sweetly coerced me to go to BGC (Bonifacio Global City) in Taguig for a Friday dinner date for two.
It’s Amy’s birthday today and she will treat us for dinner. Some of my care bear co-members (my office mates in reality) are elated to go back to Dampa in Macapagal Boulevard for seafood delight. But Amy declined because we had frequented the area from several past occasions. She wanted to eat something new this time. More suggestions came up until we ended up at Mesa, Filipino Moderne in Greenbelt 5, Makati.
Right after our hefty meal with my co-carebear members at Mesa, Food Moderne in Greenbelt 5, Makati City we set off for dessert delight at St. Marc Café in Greenbelt 3. The café originally came from Japan and is eyeing for branch expansion to several Asian countries which includes the Philippines.
