Varieties of apples at Sprouts Farmers Market, California

A vacation to the United States would not be complete without tasting the varieties of apples that the country is known for. One freezing morning, my sister invited me to buy fresh fruits and muffins in Sprouts Farmers Market. Every time we will go out for a stroll or grocery shopping, I’m elated to see every corner of America! And I was glad Gie did not forget about my mounting desire to eat apples in green, red, and yellow.

Soi: Eat Thai. Love Thai. Yummy Pad Thai

My hubby and I craved for ramen after we bought grocery goodies in Hypermarket in SM Mall of Asia. However, as we walked on the Ground Floor just outside Hypermarket, my eyes suddenly beamed with excitement upon seeing this Thai Restaurant called Soi. This is in time with my upcoming trip to Thailand this January. I tried Thai food in Singapore but missed out on the famous Pad Thai. I will try this in Soi and see why travelers visiting Thailand are craving to taste this dish.

Family beach getaway at Masasa Beach, Tingloy Island, Batangas

As I turned 46, we diverted the usual family beach getaway by being a kid again at Gingerbread House in Alfonso, Cavite. But my brother wanted to swim and so I recommended Masasa Beach in Tingloy Island, Batangas. Just last summer of this year, there has been much bustle about this beach and I was curious to find out for myself what this raving is all about.

Shi Lin: Authentic Taiwanese Cuisine

This day marked our 21st wedding anniversary. My hubby surprised me a water getaway not today but tomorrow since he wanted our kids and my mother to celebrate this special occasion with them. In the meantime, we will be having dinner in Circuit Makati, just the two of us together. Sounds sweet naman oh! We were craving for ramen. But to our dismay, there’s no restaurant in this mall that serves our favorite dish. So we opted to eat noodles, and we chose Shi Lin.

Early dinner at Apag Marangle, Pampanga

Our two-day sun and sand getaway at Nagsasa Cove in Zambales was indeed so refreshing. As we headed along Gapan Road in Pampanga, we searched for dining options somewhere in the city which is known for its sophisticated culinary work and exotic dish. By a stroke of luck, we stumbled upon this humble restaurant Apag Marangle which was beside the main highway in Sta. Barbara, Bacolor, Pampanga.

With my hubby at Applebee’s, BGC

When my hubby’s former office-mates went home from work abroad, he was cordially invited for a dinner at Applebee’s Grill and Bar, or simply Applebee’s at Eastwood, Quezon City. He was fascinated with their best-seller Blackened Ribeye. This is the reason why he sweetly coerced me to go BGC (Bonifacio Global City) in Taguig for a Friday dinner date for two.

Ramen Night at Kimono Ken, Blue Bay Walk

It was Friday and payday, I got out early from my office for a mall stroll. My hubby was still busy with his work so off I toured around at Landmark, Glorietta and finally at kitchen wares of SM Makati. I was so tired and hungry when my hubby fetched me. Spaghetti and ice tea are enough to sustain the grumbling sound in my tummy. But since he was hungry too, he told me to spend our Friday night at Blue Bay Walk.
