Family Goals-Caramoan Island Day 1: East Side Island Hopping

Come South! Cam Sur! Ms. Millennial 2017 Julia Gonowon’s shout out beckoned my family to visit Caramoan Island. I was thankful for this beauty pageant in the noontime show Eat Bulaga as they highlighted the beauty of Caramoan. As such, I convinced them easily to visit one of the stunning islands in Bicolandia and I was so excited to bring them here!

Maniwaya Island in Marinduque (with Palad Sandbar and Ungab Rock Formation)

It became a tradition for my family to go for a swim to celebrate birthdays and other special occasions. I was glad that I learned about this emerging beach destination, Maniwaya Island from a friend. I was mesmerized to see the photos shared with me. With sheer excitement, we will celebrate my son’s incoming birthday on this island through DIY travel, where we are used to.

Minor Climb No. 7: Mt. Batulao

Mt. Batulao is one of the few mountains that are already famous for climbers way back then. It stands at 811 meters with the difficulty of 4/9. It is a minor climb and will take two to four hours to reach the summit. As you walk on the open trail you will be awed to see the stunning scenery of rolling slopes, natural landscapes, and picturesque views of Batangas.

South Batan Tour in Batanes: 19 Awesome Places to Explore

My tour of Batanes was a far cry from my previous trips to the different places in my country. It lags so much behind the modernization that it does not have luxurious hotels and huge shopping malls to boast. But while it is devoid of modern amenities, the island province emanates charm that soothes, mesmerizes and captivates. Now, that we are in our last leg of our tour, we will savor every minute to feast on other breathtaking sights and to capture memorable memories.

North Batan Tour in Batanes: Stunning Places to Explore

We were in high spirits as we started exploring the North Batan, the prelude in our Batanes tour. Prior to this trip, I just could not contain the excitement that I had several sleepless nights imagining our close encounter with the rolling hills, the well-manicured grasses, the vast expansive view of the sea, and the lighthouses. I prayed that our three-day stay in the island province will promise a very memorable escapade considering our month of visit is January, a month where rain frequents Batanes.

Batanes: 3-day and 2-night Itinerary, Travel guide and Tips

It is bliss beyond description to see a panorama of the rolling hills, rugged coastlines, undulating terrain, and the overwhelming pristine beauty and cool and green surroundings. That’s how I felt when I set foot in Batanes. Dubbed as “Nature’s Playground”, this island province located in the northernmost part of the country affords a natural endowment that will torment you once you bid good-bye to her.

Exploring Lantau Island, Hong Kong: What to See and What to Do

When you are on a trip with high-spirited travel buddies, you feel like time runs so fast. What you have to do is to soak up the remaining vacation vibes and savor every morsel of time. For our last day in Hong Kong, me and my office mates (Team Finance) will visit a traditional village in the Ngong Ping area in Lantau Island.  We will immerse ourselves in a relaxing tour where the natural environment, customs, and culture of the island are still richly preserved. We will start our exciting trip by riding the crystal cable car. And so here we go!

Second Day in Hong Kong 2018: Nan Lian Garden, Chi Lin Nunnery, Won Tai Sin Temple

This is the continuation of our relentless foot navigation in Hong Kong. I just can’t sustain the eagerness and happiness in me exploring the beautiful sights in the city. So coming from The Peak, Hong Kong Disneyland, Disneyland Hotel, Ten Thousand Buddhas, and Choi Hung Estate, we will now proceed to the last three tourist spots. And the excitement for my second visit to Hong Kong is still soaring high.

Second Day in Hong Kong 2018: The Peak and Disneyland

This is our second day in Hong Kong and the top two tourist attractions that highlighted our trip are The Peak and Hong Kong Disneyland. I was so elated to get back. But as much as I want to frolic on rides and attractions in Disneyland again, I will only bring my office mates here for I will explore other notable places in the city that I did not visit yet. I will spend another worthy escapade with my two friends, Dayleen and Amie who are both working in the city.
